here is my problem: i made 7 buttons with instance name each and i also have a textbox with instance name. my goal is to make one image appear each time, it is a game so u have to choose the right button for the image then a feedback will appear if u are correct or wrong. if correct another image will appear (random) then u have to guess the correct button again.. i need it to appear five times.. ... What does this error message mean
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at Menswear_fla::pages_1/moveGallery() i have a moving gallery on one page but not on teh other and when i click on the button to go to another page this message pops up in flash player as well as in the output error box in flash cs4 how can i get rid of this? many thanks a way to stop errors appearing in another window when swf is run in flash player?

I'm looking to build a Flash site and would like to have a page for a blog so as to upload information, videos and maybe user comments (undecided of yet). How would I go about this? Should it be done in Flash or would it be better to embed HTML into the Flash? localToGlobal with fractional pixels?
I'm working on a project where I need to use localToGlobal with a bit more precision than whole pixels because I have an object that is moving very slowly that I need something else to follow. Since localToGlobal returns whole pixels, the object I'm positioning with it jumps from pixel to pixel at slow speeds, rather than moving smoothly at fractional pixels like the object it's following. Hi all. so, I've been trying to make my somewhat first game, and got stuck. trying to make the "Enemy UI". You don't need any background info. *Its a Thinking Question* Enemy is at 100X and 200Y.
